COVID-19 Vaccine

Already vaccinated? Thank you! You have done your part to protect yourself, your family, and our community.COVID19vaccine

Not vaccinated yet? There are currently three vaccines available in the US. All three (Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson) have been proven safe and effective.

Until we can reach community immunity, or herd immunity, COVID-19 isn’t going anywhere. That means at least 75% of Clinton County residents getting vaccinated.

 CCHD currently utilizes the Moderna vaccine. Moderna is approved for use in individuals 18 years of age and older.

NYS Drive Thru Vaccination Site Plattsburgh

NYS currently utilizes the Pfizer vaccine. Pfizer is approved for use in individuals 12 years of age and older.

  • Vaccinations are offered 7 days a week at 213 Connecticut Road, located on the former Plattsburgh Air force Base. To register visit “Am I Eligible” and select Plattsburgh International Airport as your vaccination site.

Having symptoms like fever after you get a COVID-19 vaccine is normal and a sign your immune system is learning to fight the virus. Learn more by visiting  www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/expect/after.html

Lost your COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card?

Don’t worry! You can download your record right to your phone. Visit https://covid19vaccine.health.ny.gov/excelsior-pass to download the Excelsior Pass. You can also get a copy of your vaccination record from your primary care physician, this includes data for all immunizations entered into the New York State Immunization System. Want a new card? Try your pharmacy – they may be able to replace a lost card.
